Bilmar Nurseries

Bilmar is our original farm since 1941, owned and operated by our family for 3 generations.

At Bilmar, we have an excellent selection of Fraser Firs by far the most sought after type of Christmas Tree. You and your family can park in the main parking lot and board our hay wagon or fire truck to get to the fields and pick the perfect tree for your family holiday. The little kids and the big kids (aka adults) always have a great time!

Or if you prefer, you may drive to other parking areas in your own car. On weekends, there are always attendants on hand to help with saws and tree- baling equipment in all fields. Weekdays, our fields are unattended.

Please note: Driving into or on the fields is not allowed at any time. No Chain Saws Please! Tailgating is recommended, there are many great spots throughout the property.

Pre-cut trees

Located outside the Christmas shop are the freshest pre-cut Christmas trees you will find anywhere. You will find Fraser, Balsam, Concolor, and Noble Fir.

Every October, Scott and Meg take a trip to Canada where for more than 30 years we have been personally tagging over 500 Christmas trees. Our Christmas Trees are cut and shipped the week of Thanksgiving – making us better than the rest! Your tree will be fresher and last longer from Bilmar Nurseries.

Holiday Activities for the Family

Be sure to stop in and get warm by the wood stove!

In our main parking lot, you can board transportation to the Christmas tree fields and to visit our unique collection of old fire trucks for the kids to climb on, a perfect picture taking spot.

Also in our main lot you will find food and drink concessions offered by St. Paul’s Church in Pleasant Valley, NY. Weekends only.

Across Traver Rd. at our Farm House is our Christmas shop. In our shop, you will find a great selection of locally made goods for last minute gift ideas, tree accessories, our own fresh made wreaths, and wreath accessories if you want to make your own. We have hundreds of ribbons to choose from for making the perfect bow.
